About Alexis: Renewable Energy Writer, Editor, & Content Strategist

Engineering meets strategic storytelling

I founded Renewable Writing LLC in 2021 after years working as a project manager for cleantech and solar microgrid startups. I saw firsthand how difficult it is to communicate complex energy solutions clearly, and how much storytelling matters for accelerating the energy transition, shaping narratives, influencing policy, and building awareness.

I hold a Master's in Renewable Energy Engineering from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Instituto Superior Técnico Lisboa, and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Clemson University. I also come from a family of entrepreneurs and freethinkers.

Over the past 5 years, I've partnered with 100+ renewable energy and cleantech companies across the USA, Canada, and Europe, bringing the technical credibility and industry insight that generalist writers simply can't offer.

Currently based in the rainforests of Costa Rica. When I'm not writing, you can find me outside — hiking, scuba diving, swimming in waterfalls, and snowboarding — exploring the very nature I'm so passionate about protecting.
